Terms & Conditions
Agreement
For volunteers at Blessed Care International (BCI), here are the conditions they should be aware of:
1. Feeding and Accommodation: Volunteers are responsible for covering their own feeding and accommodation expenses during their time with BCI. While BCI will assist in arranging suitable accommodation options, the cost must be borne by the volunteers themselves.
2. Travel and Transportation: Volunteers are expected to cover their own travel expenses, including transportation to and from Ghana (or the project location) and daily commute costs during their stay.
3. Health and Safety: Volunteers must have valid health insurance that covers their stay and any activities they may participate in. BCI strongly recommends having all necessary vaccinations before arrival.
4. Commitment and Conduct: Volunteers should be committed to the mission and values of BCI, demonstrating respect, empathy, and cultural sensitivity at all times. They are also expected to follow the organization’s code of conduct.
5. Work Hours and Flexibility: Volunteers should be prepared to work flexible hours, which may vary depending on the nature of the projects.
6. Visa and Legal Requirements: Volunteers must ensure they have the correct visa and any other required permits before traveling. BCI can provide guidance but will not be responsible for visa applications.
7. Skills and Training: Volunteers may need to participate in training sessions before starting certain projects. BCI encourages volunteers to bring their unique skills and expertise, but it will also provide relevant orientation when necessary.
8. Fundraising and Donations: While it is not mandatory, BCI encourages volunteers to engage in fundraising activities to support ongoing projects or bring donations that can contribute to the initiatives.
These conditions help ensure a smooth and fulfilling experience for both the volunteers and BCI.
